We recently interviewed a client who had been dealing with persistent pelvic floor pain for a long time.
Throughout our time working together, NKT consistently reduced his pain for 2–3 days at a time and made a noticeable difference in his ability to move and sleep. At one point, he received an injection to numb the area and told me that, to him, NKT worked just as well.
That doesn't mean we "cured" his pain. We didn't.
He had been dealing with a complex problem for a long time and was working with multiple providers, including chiropractic care, massage therapy, and pelvic floor therapy with zero relief after the sessions.
My goal was never to tell him I had the one answer or that I could "fix" him.
The goal was to help him manage his pain, move better, sleep better, understand his body, and keep moving forward to find the answers & reduce pain as much as possible with the limitations I have.
Sometimes a win isn't being completely pain-free after 1, 3, or even 6 sessions.
Sometimes it's sleeping better. Moving with less hesitation. Having a few days where things feel more manageable. Learning what helps and what doesn't. And having someone willing to adjust the plan when something isn't working.
Pain is complex. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, and there is certainly no magic pill.
Good care isn't about convincing someone that one person or one technique is the answer.
It's about listening, staying curious, adapting, and giving people the tools and confidence to better understand their own bodies.
And sometimes, that alone is a pretty big win.
