As some of you may already know, aside from rocking sweet piercings out of our body jewelry boutique in downtown Iowa City, we’ve also had a warehouse on the outskirts of town, where we manufactured body jewelry, as well as body suspension hooks & rigs, for years over a decade, actually.
Well, unfortunately that production/storage facility & indoor body suspension space was recently broken into, so we’ve made the painstaking decision to move out of said warehouse space and relocate everything within, which is no small task!
So that, combined with the constraints of the piercing studio being incredibly short staffed for the time being, we’re having to switch the piercing studio hours up a bit for at least a couple weeks in order to spend those mornings and late nights on getting things all packed, loaded, & moved out of there and into the new space(s) in a way that keeps it all as organized and fluid as possible.
For the next couple weeks, we’ll be open from 3pm to 9pm, Tues thru Sat, still running our weekly specials on their respective days, and still booking appointments via phone/text, email, and social media DMs. Please be patient with receiving responses, and if you can’t seem to make contact, you are always welcome to come into the studio during these posted temporary hours; we’ll also keep trying to accommodate walk-in’s when the schedule allows! 😅
*Thank you all for your understanding and patience during this process! I am personally apologetic for the booking issues this may cause some of you. I’m aware that starting mid afternoon and going into the late evening isn’t always the most convenient for everyone, so please just know that I will do what I can to accommodate all of you during this time. The goal is to have everything done and back to normal by the end of the month at the absolute latest.

Aventurine is known as “The Stone of Opportunity” and aside from the things that ended up damaged, destroyed, or missing from the break in, the outcome is definitely opening up new opportunities and that’s what the main focus has become! 🩶
