Fun times reunited with lots of amazing emergency nurses. 🤩
Conference is a time to get CE for sure, but it’s so much more.
It’s reconnecting with friends and picking up where you left off.
Venting to each other, knowing they just get it.
Celebrating advocacy wins that this group has so much passion for!
And networking- meeting new friends, exchanging information, and hoping to connect again after conference in pursuit of mutual growth and excellence. 🤓

While teaching in Saturday I described an experience in nursing and said something shout “I went and played in the OR…” a student asked “played?” 😆
I said yes- played… I often come home and tell my husband, I got to play in OR.. went to NICU.. or got to see an event and play at work. Using the word play seems to be common in pediatrics, but for me it also shows how much I love my job. It can feel like play. ❤️‍🩹
There are many moments throughout my career where I say- wow I can’t believe I get paid to do this. Do you enjoy what you do so much you can call it play? 🏃 👧🏽👯‍♀️
