To Jane Doe and every survivor of sexual violence, we see you. We hear you. We support you.

As an organization centered around brain injury awareness and support, we believe it is important to recognize the intersection between violence, trauma, and brain health. We stand with survivors, believe in creating spaces where people can speak without shame or judgment, and encourage our community to continue educating itself about consent, sexual violence, and the often-overlooked consequences of brain injury.

WE ARE BACK!!

Looking for healthcare experience without paying hundreds (or thousands) of dollars for a program?

Synapse at UCI gives students the opportunity to gain FREE, hands-on healthcare experience while making a real impact in the community. Members can work directly with patients at ESNOC once a month, build patient communication skills, and gain meaningful exposure to neurological conditions, rehabilitation, and patient care.

Synapse also offers guest speakers, conferences, professional development opportunities.

Whether you’re pre-med, pre-nursing, pre-PA, interested in research, or just exploring healthcare, these events are a great way to learn outside the classroom and get inspired about where your path could take you. 💙🧠

Calling all TBI/ABI members! Want to get to know others with TBI/ABIs? Want to talk about your experience and get support? We are having our very first peer support meeting this Saturday from 1-2:30! Caregivers are also encouraged to attend. We hope to see you soon!

For general members, this meeting is for board only, as general members have not yet completed training. We will let you know about future peer support meetings! Thank you for your patience.
