What does it mean to be a travel healthcare superhero?

For Matt, it is about combining dedication to patient care with a passion for exploring new places.

A cardiac sonographer with more than eight years of experience, Matt was inspired by his family’s healthcare background and developed a strong commitment to his profession. His work has included helping identify critical heart conditions while supporting patients as part of a larger care team.

His decision to become a traveler came while he was still a student, after seeing the freedom and opportunities that travel healthcare could offer. Today, his assignments have allowed him to experience destinations across the country, while his love of hiking and landscape photography gives him even more reasons to explore.

Sometimes, finding the right career starts with discovering what you do not want.

Brenna always respected nurses, but she knew nursing was not the path for her. Then, in her early 30s, a friend introduced her to sonography.

After shadowing and learning what the profession was really about, Brenna realized it matched her strengths and interests. That first experience helped set her on a healthcare career journey that has now spanned more than 12 years.
