- 988 is there for anyone who is struggling, not only for people in a full crisis. Feeling overwhelmed or in emotional pain is reason enough to reach out.
- A real person answers every call, text, and chat to 988. The support is free, confidential, and available any time of day or night.
- 988 is available in Spanish, for Veterans, for deaf and hard of hearing callers via ASL Videophone and chat, and in more than 150 languages. Help is there for everyone.
- Knowing about 988 before you need it, and sharing it with the people in your life, is one of the most important things any of us can do.
- Crisis care goes beyond 988. Mobile crisis teams, stabilization centers, and community behavioral health clinics are part of a network that helps people through their hardest moments.
- Reaching out early, to a trusted person, a provider, or 988, before things reach a breaking point leads to better outcomes and more paths forward.

This is a quick reminder to submit your signed Parent Consent Form if you would like your child to have access to the Hematite Health Clinic this school year. Please note that we cannot see or treat your child without a parent consent form on file. Turning this form in now ensures your child can receive care immediately when they need it. If you need a new copy of the form, please contact the school office or visit the clinic.

As we begin the new academic year, we remind all parents and guardians to complete and return the Clinic Parent Consent Form included in Ishpeming school's welcome packet. 🎒✏️

A signed consent form must be on file for students to receive services at our school-based health clinic.

Please note that we have expanded our services this year to include fluoride varnish applications. Additionally, we will be hosting a flu shot clinic this October to support student wellness.🪥💉

All necessary documentation can be found within the packets distributed by the school. Please review, sign, and return the paperwork as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted access to healthcare services for your student.

📅 Important Clinic Update 📅

We want to share a quick update regarding our upcoming schedule. Our appointment calendar for the next week is almost completely full. We truly appreciate your trust in our care, and we are working hard to accommodate everyone as quickly as possible!

Please note that our clinic is closed on Friday's in the summer and we will NOT have a provider in the office on Monday, August 10, 2026.

Fall sports for high school start on August 10th. If you still need to get your sports physical, you must call the office immediately. We will do our absolute best to accommodate you if you reach out ASAP.
