What does it really mean to “FOLLOW YOUR HEART”?
Let’s get down to brass tacks- how do you actually do it?
When we’re faced with choices, we have to literally and energetically drop out of our heads. Shift our awareness from the airy realm of thought into the pulsing, pulpy, bleeding space of the heart. Feel the sensations in your chest more than you chase the loops in your mind.
That simple act of moving your attention changes everything. It opens new understanding. Because we’re not meant to think our way out of every problem — we’re meant to feel our way through.
✨ If you’re ready to deepen your connection with your heart — in your relationships, in your choices, in the way you live — I can help.
Let’s explore what your heart is really trying to tell you.

✨ It’s a dreamy time for romance! 💘
Lately I’ve been reflecting on the media that shaped my early ideas about love. As a Gen Xer, John Hughes movies were huge for me—Molly Ringwald was my heroine. She pushed back against mainstream beauty standards and charmed us with her quirky, romantic appeal. But still, her characters always measured fulfillment and self-worth through romance.
Today, women are encouraged to be more independent, to question the idea that love is the ultimate prize. After my own experiences with divorce and the loss of a partner, I found myself rejecting romance altogether. Words like soulmate or ideas of forever felt hollow. I explored polyamory, questioned every cultural script, and gave myself permission to redefine intimacy on my own terms.
That process was powerful—but it wasn’t the end. Questioning was just the beginning. Through reflection, experimentation, and truly getting to know myself, I discovered something beautiful: romance can be creative, dynamic, and evolving.
For me, love is both spontaneity and security. It’s friendship and deep bond, without being trapped by “shoulds.” My love story doesn’t follow a script—I write it. And now, I know what I want: a long-term, monogamous partnership. Not because that’s what society says, but because it feels most fulfilling to me.
AND I truly no longer feel like I NEED a romantic partnership to be happy. I have discovered so much joy in other areas of my life and feel pretty damn whole!
💫 Whether you’re sifting through old conditioning, envisioning the relationship you truly desire, or just feeling unfulfilled in love—I can help.

The opposite of being in a couple isn’t being alone.
It’s being part of a web of community... an interconnected field of belonging where you are the center.
Where love flows in many directions.
Where you grow in all directions.

If you are not feeling fulfilled in your single life, let's talk. I help people use their time being single to find fulfillment, shine bright in their relationships, and fall in love with their own hearts.

💔 Processing your grief is a relationship skill.

When you tend to your grief, you connect more deeply. You can sit with someone else’s pain-without making it about you.

But our culture teaches us to bury grief, to rush through it like a task. The truth is: heartbreak lingers in the body, shaping how openheartedly we can live.

Relational grief takes many forms:
a friendship drifting apart, love fading, being ghosted, betrayal, moving away, not being fully seen.
These are real losses. And your body remembers, even if your mind tries to move on.

🌿 Somatic relationship coaching offers a safe space to touch your grief with support, and to open toward tenderness and connection.

✨ You don’t have to hold it alone. DM me to begin.

🔥 Relationship Rebel Hot Take!

Look forward to your first argument with a new love interest or friend.

Hear me out…

Most people are pleasant when everything around them is agreeable. But what happens when they’re challenged, disappointed, frustrated, or under stress? That’s when you get to see how they actually handle conflict.

If you’re looking for long-term relationships—ones built on support, mutual respect, trust, and genuine integration into your life—it’s important to choose people who are mature, emotionally steady, and capable of navigating life’s inevitable ups and downs.

So don’t just pay attention to how someone treats you when things are easy.

Pay attention to who they become when things get hard.

That first conflict might tell you more about the future of the relationship than the first hundred good days ever could.

I was talking with some coaching colleagues about what a drag it is that the times in life when people could use coaching the most, are usually the times when financial resources are the lowest- job change, divorce, moving, etc.

That’s why I have a low income spot. It’s available now. $50/session. I ask that you commit to 6 sessions. Sessions are on the phone or zoom, so you don’t have to be local. Maybe you know someone I can help?

DM me if interested.

I have learned processing grief is a relationship skill that nobody speaks about.

What are some other relationship skills no one is talking about?

When my mother got married, She was leveraging a way out of her parent’s house. She wanted independence but women didn’t live alone. Marriage symbolized adulthood and having one’s own family and culturally sanctioned s*x.

My experience has been so very different. Growing up in the 70s and 80s I’ve had the benefit of feminists that have come before me. Women more often worked outside the home. Women had ambitions beyond marriage and children. And I , full of excitement, wanted a “conscious relationship”. A relationship where self awareness, spiritual connection and evolution were all valued. I’m not sure my mother knew what to think!

In my lifetime, the role of romantic relationships have changed so much. We look to them to fulfill so many needs- and even needs that are opposites! For example, we want our partner to be our sense of stability AND our playmate for spontaneous adventure. We are looking for a lover AND a best friend. We want someone to mirror our growing edges AND see the best in us.

There’s so much pressure on a romantic relationship that many people cannot commit. There’s so much responsibility on a relationship that some people make romance the center of their lives. We are all trying to make sense of what a romantic relationship means and requires of us in our age.

Whether you are in a great relationship, a struggling relationship, single, anxiously attached, avoidently attached, feeling hopeful, grieving an ex, just starting to date someone… wherever you are, know that you get to choose a perspective on romance that works for you. There is no right way. Know yourself and share yourself. We are on an adventure, a creative endeavor that centers around connection and love. It’s really quite beautiful.

And the perfect time to be a rebel! No more old scripts. No more default actions. Just authentic creative fulfilling love ❤️

Let’s meet 1:1 and get clear!

Our Romantic Relationships are shifting.

The changes in the last 50 years have caused a shift in context. Marriages used to be based on social structure, economics, collaboration, and love. Today, our romantic relationships are based more on a sense of “who can I be myself with?” And not just that, but “what relationship structure best supports me and the other person?” And we also are looking deeply into “what exactly does it mean to love?”

It’s no wonder we are a little disoriented. We are on the forefront of a new paradigm! A landscape very different than our own mothers’ .A paradigm that asks us to know and trust ourselves in a way that we haven’t been taught to so we can bring our most authentic self to a relationship.

If you need a space to process this reality, ask yourself hard but meaningful questions and find your footing in the shifting ground, I’d love to support you! Free 1:1 consults
