Well, that didn’t take long! Filets are already SOLD OUT and we’re down to just a handful of those monster ribeyes! 😳

The good news? We’ve got several new products hitting the shelves that we’re pretty excited about! More on those soon! 👀

We’ve still got plenty of beef, fresh eggs, Gilliland’s Dairy milk, breads, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and lots of other goodies!

We’ve got a couple of young woodworkers showing off their talents at Lazy Creek Farm Market!

These talented young men are the great-grandsons of Warren Gilliland, who started Gilliland’s Dairy, and the great-nephews of Roger Gilliland, the dairy’s current owner.

These boys have been busy making hand-carved wooden birds, including a pretty neat little penguin! 🐧

They’ve got several pieces on display at the market, including small and large carvings and Christmas ornaments.

We love being able to give young folks an opportunity to sell something they’ve worked hard to make.

Next time you stop in, take a look at their work - you might just find something to take home!

🐱 MEET THE LAZY CREEK PEST CONTROL DEPARTMENT! 🐭

Allow us to introduce the three most underqualified employees here at Lazy Creek Farm Market: Chompers, Squid, and John Cena! (Certain you can figure out which one is John Cena 💪)

Their job? Catch mice.

Their actual accomplishments so far?
🐾 Zero confirmed mouse captures.
🚗 Multiple unauthorized rides in customers’ vehicles.
🏪 Several attempts to sneak into the Farm Market.
🏡 At least one incident of following our neighbors home.

As you can see, they spend most of their shift sleeping on the hay, and quite frankly, we’re starting to question their work ethic.

⚠️ PLEASE DO NOT PET THE CATS! They’re already entirely too friendly, and the last thing we need is three more employees thinking they’re entitled to customer service positions.

At this point, we’re just providing free room and board for three unemployed freeloaders. 🤦‍♂️
