Join our team at Michigan Joint Replacement Institute in Jackson! We are looking for 2 Full-Time Orthopedic Clinic Medical Assistants to help provide top-quality care to our patients.

Requirements:
• BLS required upon hire and maintained throughout employment
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• RMA or CMA certified, OR LPN, OR EMT/Paramedic with at least 1 year of clinical experience

Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and maintain patient data
• Set up and maintain patient areas and equipment
• Perform patient assessments and assist with exams/procedures
• Obtaining surgical and imaging authorizations through insurance companies
• Work closely with providers and staff to ensure top-notch care
• Identify and promote safe work practices

Welcome Dr. Tudor Tien!

Please welcome Dr. Tudor Tien!

Foot & Ankle Specialist at Michigan Joint Replacement Institute

Dr. Tien, M.D., grew up in East Lansing and earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a specialization in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Tien completed his orthopedic residency at the United States Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, followed by a foot and ankle fellowship at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

After his service in the Navy, Dr. Tien returned to Michigan, where he now resides in the Ann Arbor area with his wife, Suzanne, and their three children.
