In celebration of National Walk & Roll to School Day, Blue Zones Project Jacksonville joined students, families, and school communities at Cedar Hills Elementary, Mamie Agnes Jones Elementary and Rutledge H. Pearson Elementary for a Walking School Bus.

Walking to school is a simple way to add natural movement to the day while building healthy habits and stronger connections along the way. Thank you to everyone who walked in the rain with us!

A little movement goes a long way, especially when we do it together! Join Blue Zones Project Jacksonville for our FREE Movement Moai, a five-week walking group designed to help you stay active, build healthy habits and connect with your neighbors.

We’ll meet every Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 1 PM at our office on East 8th Street. All walking levels are welcome!

Every voice helps create a clearer picture of well-being in Jacksonville. The Blue Zones Project Jacksonville Year 4 Gallup Survey is currently underway, with randomly selected households across our city invited to participate.

If you received a survey in the mail, your response matters. The information gathered helps us better understand our community, measure progress and identify opportunities to improve well-being across Jacksonville.
