We all experience bloating from time to time, but when does it become something worth talking to your doctor about?

Occasional bloating can be a normal part of digestion, especially after certain meals. But if bloating is persistent, getting worse or accompanied by symptoms like abdominal pain, changes in bowel habits, unexplained weight loss or blood in your stool, it’s important to get checked.

Don’t get used to feeling uncomfortable. If something feels off, a conversation with your healthcare provider can help you get to the bottom of it.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, encourage preventive care and stand with those impacted by breast cancer. 💗

At Borland Groover, we believe in the power of being proactive about your health. Staying up to date on recommended screenings, knowing your personal risk factors and talking with your healthcare providers are important steps toward early detection.

This month, we honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost and support everyone currently navigating a breast cancer diagnosis.

What an incredible day on the course! ⛳️

The Borland Groover Foundation’s inaugural Fore! To Get Screened Golf Tournament brought our community together for an important cause: raising awareness around colorectal cancer and the importance of getting screened.

Every dollar raised will go directly back into our community to help promote colorectal cancer screening and encourage more people to take this potentially lifesaving step.

We’re incredibly grateful for the amazing turnout and everyone who helped make our inaugural tournament a success. A special thank you to our generous sponsors for supporting our mission and making this event possible.

Here’s to making an impact, one screening at a time! 💙

Healthy aging starts with the everyday habits that help you feel your best. 💙

This Healthy Aging Month, remember to prioritize fiber-rich foods, stay hydrated, keep your body moving and stay up to date on recommended health screenings. It’s also important to pay attention to changes in your digestive health rather than assuming they’re simply a normal part of getting older.

Small, consistent choices today can help support your digestive health and overall wellness for years to come.

September is Food Safety Education Month, and a few simple habits can go a long way toward protecting your digestive health.

Wash fresh produce thoroughly, keep raw meats separate from ready-to-eat foods, cook foods to safe temperatures and refrigerate perishables promptly. If you're in doubt about whether something is still safe to eat, it’s usually better to toss it.

Food safety starts in the kitchen, but its impact can be felt throughout your gut. Small precautions can help reduce your risk of foodborne illness and keep your digestive system feeling its best.
