🥧😂 Who says leadership is above getting pied in the face?!

As part of ED Nurses Week, the Washington Regional ED leadership team proved they are always willing to take one for the team! The fearless leaders were great sports and volunteered to be pied by the amazing ED staff in a fun event hosted by the WRMC ED Unit-Based Council. 🙌

A little whipped cream, a lot of laughs, and all for a GREAT cause! ❤️ Because sometimes leadership means stepping up… and sometimes it means stepping up to a pie plate! 🥧🤣

Emergency nurses are often there for Veterans during some of their most unexpected moments.
October 11–17 is Emergency Nurses Week, a time to recognize the nurses who provide skilled, compassionate care when Veterans need it most. Emergency nursing is more than responding to an urgent medical need. It’s also about listening, understanding the Veteran Experience, and treating every Veteran with dignity and respect.
