🌡️ Not all fevers are created equal!
As parents, seeing a fever can be scary, but understanding when to worry makes all the difference.
🚨 Under 2 months: A fever of 100.4°F or higher is a medical emergency and requires immediate evaluation.
⚠️ 2–3 months: A fever of 100.4°F or higher still requires immediate contact with your pediatrician.
🌿 Older babies & children: A fever isn’t automatically something to fear! It’s often a sign that the immune system is doing exactly what it’s designed to do — fighting off an infection.
Remember, it’s not just about the number on the thermometer. How your child is acting, breathing, and staying hydrated matters, too!
✨ Treat the child, not just the number, but always know the warning signs.
