Introducing Studio P’s fall event series: Sprint Club! Or SPrint Club, as an ode to the studio 🙃

First things first, this is not another run club 👀

Every Saturday morning in October, come learn to sprint on the track with other women in a true high-intensity training environment. All paces and experience levels are welcome!!

Over five progressive weeks, you’ll build speed, strength, power, and conditioning through intentionally programmed sprint work designed with injury prevention in mind.

THE FIRST SESSION: we’ll kick off the first day by establishing your baseline. We’ll spend the following weeks with sprint and conditioning work, and THE LAST SESSION will finish the last week by testing it again to see how much faster you have gotten.

Every session ends with focused core conditioning, so you can build the strength and stability to sprint with more power and control.

So come start your Saturday morning first thing with us and then go spend the rest of your Saturdays pumpkin picking with your workout already done!

For more details and to sign up, head to my link in bio!! See you there 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

A little personal update, and explanation why I’ve been more MIA on here lately.

It’s been really emotionally challenging for Greg and I to navigate the last 2 months, but I finally feel ready to share here.

According to my recent MRI, I have a cavernoma, which is a malformed venous formation in my thalamus, which is in the center of my brain.

According to the radiologist who read the CT scan, it appeared to maybe be a calcification, so finding out through the MRI that it’s essentially a very visible tangled glob of blood vessels in my brain was even scarier news to receive.

I’m hoping my neurologist appointment will reveal more information and the path forward from here. Please say a prayer for me that by the next MRI appointment, things will look much better in my brain!

And truly, slide 6. Go enjoy your life today, your health, and your body. None of us are invincible, so make sure you’re spending more time appreciating your body than hating it. It’s carried you this far 🤍

This is everything I’ve learned from 14 years of coaching brought into one place with intentional programming, movement education, and resources that I wish every woman had access to when she’s fighting out how to workout.

The Collection goes beyond another challenge to finish or workout to save, it’s a strength training experience than you can come back to.

Today it has officially launched, and I am so excited for you to have access to it.

$39/month, and a pair of Studio P socks is included with every new Collection membership during launch week.

Wrapping up birthday week with a couple of reflections —

In the past year, I: filled my client schedule in a new city I had only recently moved to, hosted my first Studio P event, worked with a lot of really incredible women, and somehow did it all while juggling raising a toddler and keeping our household afloat.

That intersection has been hard to navigate. In Boston I was just a business owner, and for the first year of my son’s life, I was just a mom. So I spent the last year learning — how do I become a mom who is also building a business, and how do I become a business owner who isn’t consumed by it so I can see my son literally as much as possible?

There were weeks where building Studio P felt exciting and weeks where it felt like a lot, and there have been plenty of nights where I was working after bedtime, wondering if any of it would actually come together.

And it has. And I’m so grateful when I reflect back from last September until now.

If you find yourself also in an “in between” phase, in a season of becoming, know that it can and will come together.

32 felt less like having it all figured out and more like clarity on how to build and prioritize what matters most to me: my family, my work, creating something I’m proud to put my name on, and taking care of women who trust me with their goals.

Here’s to 33 and all it’s going to hold. 🥂

Recipe to put on a noticeable amount of muscle to get “bulky:”

✔️Eat consistently and in a surplus
❌ you miss breakfast most days, undereat during the week, and then make up those calories at night or on the weekend

✔️ Lift heavy and close to if not all the way to failure
❌ when strength training, you grab the same weights you would grab in a Pilates class and rep it out for a burn instead of lifting heavy under 12 reps and going to mechanical failure

✔️prioritize rest and recovery
❌ you struggle to do both

You likely have way bigger fish to fry than worrying about getting bulky right now, and I say that in love. Going back to my sourdough analogy, let’s worry about keeping the sourdough starter alive before worrying about the other down the road stuff.

All of that said, go try to lift heavy this week! And if you need a plan, the Collection is coming soon on September 7th! 🤍💪🏼

The one thing I have kept coming back to in my years of working 1:1 with women is how they want to get stronger, but there are mental and logistical barriers in the way.

The gym can be intimidating. They don’t know what to do, or if they are doing it right. They start something, life gets busy, and they keep finding themselves back at square one.

Women don’t need more pressure, or more motivation. The vast majority of the time, the women I talk to already have that down pat.

They need a plan, they want to learn, and they need tools to stay on track when life hits the fan.

That’s why I created the Collection — taking everything I have learned from coaching and putting it all in one place.

The Collection launches as an on demand platform on September 7th, can’t wait for you to see inside 🤍
