September was one for the books! From health fairs, community carnivals, and outreach events to connecting with referral partners and spreading the word about the heart behind Cornerstone, our team stayed busy making an impact in our community.

Our operating director also had the incredible opportunity to attend C3, where she was surrounded by some of the most inspiring ODs from across Cornerstone. A week full of connection, encouragement, laughter, learning, and pouring into one another—and one she will never forget because she was honored to receive the Founder’s Award. 🏆

And, of course, September wouldn’t be complete without visits from some of our favorite clients. Those smiles, hugs, and moments of connection are the reminders of exactly why we do what we do. ❤️

Some may not know, but my husband recently had a massive hemorrhagic stroke on May 17th. In an instant our lives were changed. He was in and out of hospitals and rehabs for weeks. After having his skull replaced, I pushed to get him into Encompass. This decision and advocating truly changed our lives. I can not say enough about Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy. They helped my husband return home with more mobility than we could have imagined. They have become a second family. God placed them in our path and truly worked miracles.
