It is "Let Me Tell You Something Tuesday" once again! This week....
"Let me tell you how I met Lynette"
Similar to how we met Patricia, I had heard through the Houston audiology grapevine that Lynette would be looking for a new audiology home by the first of the year. It was fall of 2024, and the practice where she was working was planning to downsize in 2025. We weren’t actively looking to add another audiologist, but we knew our schedule could use some extra help!
After a quick phone conversation, Mary Sue and I decided it would be a great idea to meet Lynette in person. Over a long breakfast, we quickly realized she would be a fantastic fit for our office. The only challenge? Our existing office space was already pretty tight, so we had to get creative to figure out how to squeeze in another full-time audiologist. But we made it work, and we were honored to offer Lynette a position starting in January 2025.
Having Lynette join our work family has been an absolute delight! Not only is she a phenomenal audiologist, but she’s also a wonderful team player and an all-around great human. She’s always willing to jump in, lend a hand, and join whatever shenanigans we have going on around the office.
And then there’s her talent for running into adventures on her way to work. Most people might get stopped by traffic, a train, or a slow coffee line. Lynette? Well, sometimes one of her cows has decided to make a break for it, and she will chase it down herself! You really can’t make this stuff up.
We love hearing about her ranching adventures during lunch. Chasing down bulls, to hearing about the new calves being born and named, we all live vicariously through Lynnette and her country girl lifestyle. And of course, what is most important to her, her family. Lynette loves to share about her husband Clint, her daughters and step-daughters, and we love to hear about all of their sweet adventures as well!
We’re so happy the audiology grapevine led us to Lynette! Her ability to connect with patients and build genuine, personal relationships after just one appointment is truly unmatched. Her warm personality and caring approach are also a perfect fit for our Sealy patients!
Lynette has been such a wonderful addition to the Today’s Hearing team, and we couldn’t be more grateful that she found her way to us. We’re so lucky to have her!
