We’re a family-run, family-friendly, trauma-informed tattoo & piercing shop.
Under The Skin has grown from a family connection to tattooing and piercing into something we’re continuing to build together.
Phillip, our owner, has been part of the industry for over 20 years, and his daughter has grown up around it — from attending tattoo expos as a kid to eventually training alongside her dad.
Now, she’s stepping into a new chapter and taking on the next generation of Under The Skin, continuing the family business and helping shape where the shop goes from here.
We wanted to create a shop where people can walk through the door and feel comfortable, welcomed, and respected — whether it’s your first tattoo, your first piercing, or you’re already covered in them. 😂
Being family-run and trauma-informed is a big part of who we are. We believe in creating a space where you can ask questions, communicate your needs, and feel comfortable throughout your experience.
We’re still growing, learning, changing things, and figuring it all out along the way and we’re excited to have you guys along for the ride. 🖤
