Sometimes contractions are happening, but the cervix still isn’t changing the way you expect.
One reason can be how baby’s head is positioned against the cervix.
🔵 Unfavorable position
Baby’s head may not be applying consistent pressure to the cervix, which can slow cervical change.
🔵 Favorable position
When baby’s head is better aligned and pressing more directly on the cervix, dilation may happen more effectively.
This is why movement, positioning, and helping baby find a better pathway through the pelvis can matter so much during labor 👶✨
The goal is not just stronger contractions. It is helping baby get into a position that works with your body.
