120 hands on internship hours officially complete 🙌🏼✨

I’m walking away from them feeling really dang good about the work I’ve put in.

These 120 hours gave me the opportunity to work with so many different bodies, needs, tension patterns, and personalities. With every session I learned something new and became more confident in the work I’m doing.

Getting to look back now and see 5/5 after 5/5 with “best massage” and “rockstar” showing up quite a few times is a pretty solid way to close out this chapter 🤗

I’m grateful for every single person who trusted me with their care and took the time to leave feedback.

I worked hard for this. I’m proud of it. And I’m VERY excited for what’s next 🫶🏼✨

I’ll be opening my books for massage clients soon, so stay tuned!

P.S. Deep tissue and trigger point work have definitely become my favorite kind of problem solving 🤌🏼😮‍💨

When top cancer research centers like MD Anderson study energy healing on a cellular level (where a placebo effect isn’t even possible) and see physical, biological changes, we have to stop labeling it as something to fear and start recognizing it for what it is: an inherent, natural law of creation.

Is energy work a vulnerable space? Absolutely.

That’s exactly why discernment matters. You don’t let just anyone work in your energetic field any more than you’d let just anyone perform surgery or prescribe medication. A practitioner should be well trained, deeply grounded, and understand intention, ethics, and energetic protection.

This is NOT about tapping into something dark. It’s about learning how the body communicates, regulates, and heals through mechanisms mainstream science is only beginning to understand. It’s a powerful, biological mechanism built right into our anatomy.

You don’t have to abandon your faith to be curious. And you don’t have to fear everything you don’t fully understand yet.

Maybe we’ve spent so much time fearing how we’re wired that we’ve forgotten our bodies were designed with incredible capacity to heal.

Curiosity has always been a better teacher than fear🤍

✨ Big shifts. New chapters. Expanded ways to serve. ✨

I’m excited to share that in addition to beginning my Massage Therapy Internship, I am also collaborating with O Young MD in Kerrville.

What drew me to this opportunity wasn’t just the services offered, although I love the vision of supporting clients through multiple avenues of wellness, self-care, healing, and confidence. It was the energy.

From the moment I walked through the doors years ago, the atmosphere has always felt welcoming, authentic, and aligned. The space itself carries a sense of warmth, care, and genuine intention that can be felt the moment you enter.

And then there’s Ms. Ode ✨

She is a beautiful soul whose passion for helping others is evident in everything she does. It’s rare to find collaborations that feel this naturally aligned, and I am truly honored to work alongside her.

I believe wellness looks different for everyone. Sometimes it’s releasing tension held in the body. Sometimes it’s energetic support and restoration. Sometimes it’s investing in the things that help you feel confident, refreshed, and radiant ✨

She says this so beautifully, so I had to share!

Therapy and Reiki are NOT the same... and to be honest, you probably need both.

Therapy helps you understand your trauma mentally. Reiki helps your body and nervous system finally feel safe enough to release it.

You can talk about your heartbreak, anxiety, abandonment wounds, or childhood trauma for years and STILL feel it sitting heavy in your chest, your stomach, your shoulders, and your nervous system. Trauma doesn’t just live in the mind. It gets stored in the body too.

In the muscles.
The fascia.
The nervous system.
The energetic field.
The constant fight or flight state your body got stuck in trying to protect you.

This is why so many of my clients who are already in therapy end up feeling called to Reiki and energetic work too.

A lot of them tell me:
“I understand my trauma logically... but I still don’t FEEL okay.”

And that makes so much sense.

Talking helps bring awareness,
but the body still has to process what it’s been holding onto.

That’s where Reiki and energy work can be incredibly supportive.

It helps the body soften.
It helps the nervous system regulate.
It helps emotions move instead of staying trapped inside.

I’ve seen clients cry during sessions without even speaking. l’ve seen chronic tension release from the body. I’ve seen people finally feel peace after years of overthinking and surviving.

Most people try to think their way out of what their body is holding.

That’s why it doesn’t work.

It releases them through safety, regulation, and completion.

When your nervous system shifts, everything downstream shifts with it. Your reactions, your clarity, your energy, your body either align or adapt.

This is the difference between managing symptoms
and actually changing the pattern.

BIG shifts are happening behind the scenes… 👀

I’ve been real quiet lately for a reason.

Let’s just say I’ve been collaborating with a local medical space to bring energy healing into a more clinical, grounded environment, and it feels very aligned!

This isn’t just adding energy work into a room… this is true integration. Where the physical body and the energetic body are both seen, both supported, and both worked with together.

We’re combining skill sets in a way that hasn’t really been offered here before. We’re creating space for real, whole body wellness. Not surface level. Not one or the other. Both.

I’ve been practicing here since they first opened, and it’s been such a special space to grow, connect, and do this work. There’s something powerful about coming together in a space like this, where each of us brings our own work to support healing, connection, and realignment as a whole.
