Yesterday we attended the KUA annual employee health fair. We had so much fun! Maria and Dr. K applied over 200 hundred ear seeds to KUA employees!

Checking in from Italy! 🇮🇹 Dr. K is taking time to relax, explore, and enjoy the moment. Here is a glimpse of her travels!

HELP A CHILD + ENTER TO WIN A $25 STARBUCKS GIFT CARD!

Want to do something good for a child and have a chance to snag a $25 Starbucks gift card at the same time? We’d love your help!

East Lake Acupuncture is supporting a wonderful community service project being organized through my sister’s company to benefit New Missions. The goal is to prepare 80 shoeboxes filled with supplies for children in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

📦 FIRST — WE NEED EMPTY SHOEBOXES AND SHOEBOXES FILLED WITH SUPPLIES!

You can help by donating:

📦 Clean, empty shoeboxes with lids
🎁 A shoebox filled with supplies from the attached list for one of the designated age groups
🛍️ A bag or individual items from the supply list — volunteers will use them to complete boxes
🥄 Spoons for children to use for hot lunches at school
💵 Shipping donations — each shoebox costs approximately $10 to ship

☕ AND HERE’S THE FUN PART!

Donate a filled shoebox or a bag of supplies and you can put your name into the drawing for a:

🎉 $25 STARBUCKS GIFT CARD! 🎉

So you can help make a child’s day a little brighter and possibly treat yourself to Starbucks, too! ❤️☕

Please do not seal or tape filled shoeboxes closed. Each box must be checked before it is shipped.

Your comfort. Your privacy. Your space.

Did you know that not every acupuncture clinic offers private treatment rooms?

At East Lake Acupuncture, we believe the environment where you receive care matters. That’s why our clinic has 8 individual, private treatment rooms.

No communal treatment areas and no curtains separating you from another patient.

Each room is designed to be quiet, clean, comfortable, and welcoming, giving you your own space to relax throughout your treatment.

Whether you're coming in for acupuncture, stretch therapy, or another service, your appointment takes place in a room where your privacy and comfort are just as important as the quality of care.

Some reviews make us smile, and some make us stop what we’re doing and just sit quietly for a minute. This was one of those reviews.

When I opened East Lake Acupuncture, it wasn’t because I wanted to own a business. It was because I wanted to create a place where people could come when they were hurting and feel like someone was finally listening.

Chronic pain can be incredibly isolating. Many of our patients arrive frustrated, exhausted, discouraged, and feeling like nobody understands what they’re going through. When someone takes the time to write a review like this, it reminds me why I do what I do.

To Yvette: thank you for trusting us with your care and for sharing your experience. It is truly an honor to be part of your healing journey.

And to everyone who has ever left us a review, thank you. Your stories do more than encourage our team. They help other people who are suffering find us, learn about acupuncture, and realize they may have options they haven’t explored yet.

Helping people is not just what we do, it’s why East Lake Acupuncture exists.

This week we’re helping pickleball players prepare and recover. Powerful, natural, healing. There’s a reson this medicine has survived hundreds of years ago.
