Breastmilk still provides immune factors, vitamins and minerals to your tot!

The WHO and AAP suggest exclusively breastfeeding for the first six months of life and continued breastfeeding up to two years of age. It's also perfectly acceptable to Breastfeed your baby past two years.

When the tongue and jaw aren't working properly it can cause oral dysfunction! This may or may not be related to oral ties.

Things that also impact oral function are how your baby is positioned in the womb, birth itself and birth intervention 🤰🏼

Why is oral function important? Because it impacts how well your baby feeds at the breast or bottle which impacts GI function and growth 📈

Lymphatic drainage massage 🙌🏼 I sing it's praises everyday!
When struggling with swelling, engorgement, or mastitis it's my go-to. Get that fluid moving sis!

When artificial oxytocin is introduced during labor or even immediately postpartum the chances of swelling and engorgement go up significantly!

Have you ever tried to pump or express milk and you just feel too full and nothing is coming out? Chances are you have some lymphatic fluid build up compressing that ductal work.
