14 years ago today, I opened the doors to Downtown Smooth Spa in the same historic brick building we call our spa-home today. I’ve always thought of our Spa as a hidden gem tucked right here in downtown Knoxville. 💎

In the beginning, I focused on hair removal. Some days, I came in for just one appointment—an eyebrow wax. But my book quickly began to fill, and I started adding facials and skin care services. I took advanced classes and continuing education courses so I could keep learning and offer more to my clients. 💗

For those first four years, it was just me, my treatment room, and my little lobby. I checked you in, performed your service, and checked you out. My focus was always on growing my knowledge and giving every client the best experience I could. 🥰

My goal has never changed: I want people to feel something different, something special when they walk in our door.. welcomed, appreciated and comfortable. I want people to feel beautiful, confident, and cared for when they leave—more confident than when they walked in. I love helping someone’s skin transform, and I love how something as simple as a beautifully designed brow can give someone a boost of confidence. 🤩

Today, Downtown Smooth Spa has grown to include three other amazing Estheticians, our lovely Front Desk Receptionist, and the wonderful Massage Therapist and beautiful Cosmetologist who share this space with us. I absolutely love my team. They are hardworking, dependable, and passionate about what they do. ✨
