✨ A Very Special Thank You to the Sponsors Who Fed Us! ✨
Let’s be honest… conferences require a lot of brainpower, and brainpower requires snacks. 😂🍴

We want to give a HUGE thank-you to the sponsors who made sure our CANDD attendees were well-fed throughout the conference!

🍹 ClearSpring Pharmacy kicked things off Wednesday night by sponsoring the drinks and appetizers for our Meet & Greet—and then came back Thursday to sponsor lunch! 👏
🥜 Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy kept us going through the afternoon with that AWESOME trail mix for our afternoon snack. Seriously… that trail mix was a hit! 😂
🥐 UCB Biopharma got us started Friday morning by sponsoring breakfast for our attendees!

These may seem like little things, but providing food and refreshments for a conference makes a BIG difference. It keeps people energized, engaged, and—most importantly—keeps us from getting hangry during a full day of learning. 😂

Thank you, ClearSpring Pharmacy, Neighborhood RX, and UCB, for literally helping fuel CANDD!

We appreciate your generosity and all the ways you support our nurses and the professionals serving individuals with IDD. 🩺💙

Good education + good people + good food = one heck of a conference! 🎉

🧡💚 A Special Thank You to ClearSpring Pharmacy
We’ve already given Clear Springs a shoutout for helping make our opening-night Meet & Greet such a great time, but after looking back at everything they contributed to this year’s conference, we realized they deserve another big thank-you! 🧡💚

Clear Springs didn’t just support one part of our conference—they were there throughout the entire event:
✨ They sponsored a vendor booth
🩺 They sponsored a nurse to attend the conference
🎓 They sponsored one of our educational presentations
🥗 They sponsored lunch for our attendees on Thursday
🎁 They hosted a drawing for a gift basket filled with supplements
🍹 And they helped make our Meet & Greet possible on Wed night with drinks and appetizers

That is a LOT of support for CANDD, and we truly don’t take it for granted.

Their generosity helped us provide education, connection, professional development, and a great conference experience for the nurses and other professionals who attended this year.

So, Clear Springs—thank you for showing up for CANDD in so many different ways! Your support made a tremendous difference, and we are incredibly grateful to have you in our corner. 🧡💚

We appreciate you more than we can say! 🩺🧡💚

💛💜 Sponsor Spotlight: Jazz Pharmaceuticals 💛💜

We’re giving a big CANDD thank-you to Jazz Pharmaceuticals for being one of our major sponsors this year!

Jazz Pharmaceuticals supported CANDD with a vendor table and provided valuable education during the conference with a presentation focused on seizure recognition, documentation, and response—an incredibly important topic for the nurses and support professionals who care for individuals with IDD.

Their presentation gave attendees practical information and tools to help recognize and better respond to seizures, including resources to take back to their organizations and the people they serve.

We’re incredibly grateful for their generous support of CANDD and for investing not only in our conference, but also in the education of the professionals working every day to support individuals with IDD.

Thank you, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, for being such a significant part of this year’s conference! 💛💜🩺

🩵🩵 Sponsor Spotlight: Dose Health 🩵🩵
We’re excited to welcome Abby with Dose Health back to the CANDD conference for the third year in a row! 🎉

Dose Health offers innovative tools designed to help individuals manage their medications more safely and independently, like their electronic, smart medication reminder systems.

They also offer personal emergency response systems to provide an extra layer of safety and peace of mind. You know… the kind where you can push a button and say, “Help! I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!” 😂

And they didn’t come empty-handed! Dose Health also hosted a drawing for an awesome picnic set—a backpack-style cooler that was packed with all kinds of fun goodies. 🧺🎒☀️ What a fun giveaway!

We love having Abby back with us each year and appreciate Dose Health’s continued support of CANDD and the individuals we serve.

Three years and counting—thank you, Dose Health, for continuing to show up for CANDD! 🩵🩵

❤️💚🩵 Sponsor Spotlight: iCareManager
We’re excited to welcome iCareManager as one of the two Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems represented at this year’s CANDD conference!

iCareManager provides software designed to help organizations manage care, documentation, services, and the many moving pieces that come with supporting individuals with IDD.

They’re also excited about expanding their services in Colorado, making their presence at this year’s conference especially timely. We love having the opportunity to connect our attendees with technology and resources that can help make their work a little easier and more efficient.

Thank you, iCareManager, for joining us this year and for supporting CANDD and the professionals who serve the IDD community! ❤️💚🩵

The People Behind CANDD

Of course, a conference is about so much more than presentations and continuing education—it’s about the people.

And while CANDD is a nursing organization, our conference is so much more than nurses! We’re fortunate to have medical assistants, administrative and clerical staff, managers, supervisors, directors, and other professionals from residential and community support settings all coming together to learn, connect, and share their experiences.

The conversations in the hallways, the new connections, the familiar faces, the laughs between sessions, and the opportunity to learn from one another are what make the CANDD conference so special.

Here are just a few snapshots of the wonderful people who helped make this year’s conference such a great experience.

Different roles, different perspectives, one shared goal: supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, participated, shared their knowledge, and helped make our CANDD community what it is.

We couldn’t do it without you! 🩺💙✨

🩵 💛 Sponsor Spotlight: Ward Road Pharmacy
We’re excited to recognize WardRoad Pharmacy, one of our newer CANDD sponsors who has been supporting us for the past 2–3 years!

WardRoad Pharmacy provides long-term care pharmacy services and home medical supplies, and we’re so grateful for their continued support of CANDD and the IDD community.

They also brought some fun to this year’s conference with a gift basket giveaway! 🎁 Congratulations to our lucky winner! 🩵 💛

One thing we really appreciate about having several pharmacies among our CANDD sponsors is knowing that there are options. Different individuals, families, and organizations have different needs, and having multiple pharmacy partners in our community means there are choices available to help meet those needs.

We’re grateful to WardRoad Pharmacy for being part of the CANDD family and for continuing to support the education and work of nurses serving individuals with IDD.
Thank you, WardRoad Pharmacy! 🩵💛

💙 💛 Sponsor Spotlight: Alliance Colorado
We’re giving a special shoutout to Alliance, a longtime supporter of CANDD and a valued partner in the work we do!

Alliance’s mission is to advance innovative policies and practices that improve community services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Their work includes public policy and state legislation, developmental disability initiatives, and supporting best practices across the field.

While Alliance doesn’t typically have a booth at our conference, they continue to show up for CANDD in a very important way. Every year, they generously sponsor a nurse to attend the following year’s CANDD conference. 💙 💛

That support helps make it possible for more nurses to access education, networking, and professional development focused specifically on caring for individuals with IDD.

CANDD is also proud to be a partner in Alliance, and our nurses have the opportunity to participate in their quarterly Nurse Peer Network—a fantastic opportunity to connect with other nurses, share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another.

🩺 Nurses: If you haven’t checked out the Nurse Peer Network, we highly recommend it! The next meeting is November 10, 2026, and you can register here:
