Is perimenopause making your hair thin? Fluctuations in estrogen can cause increased shedding. Also, testosterone tends to be at higher levels as you go through menopause, which can cause hair thinning at the scalp or temples. We should be focusing on hair loss prevention, rather than hair regrowth.
First, check your ferritin, thyroid, and B vitamin levels to address other potential causes. Then, consider hormone therapy. It won't regrow the hair you've lost, but it can prevent future hair loss.
Other therapies can help, too - like minoxidil (either topical or oral). You don't have to face hair loss alone. We can support you in preventing hair loss.
