🌿 Indigenous Peoples’ Day | Honoring the Land & Its First Peoples
Today, we’re resharing a previous post reflecting on the land we walk upon and the Indigenous peoples who have stewarded these lands since time immemorial.
As we slow down and reconnect with nature through forest bathing, we are reminded that the land holds stories, wisdom, and connections that existed long before us. May we approach these spaces with humility, gratitude, and respect for the Indigenous communities whose ancestral lands we inhabit and enjoy today.
🤍 We encourage you to take a moment to learn about the Indigenous peoples connected to the land you currently call home. Visit https://native-land.ca to explore the Indigenous territories, languages, and treaties associated with your area.
May our time in nature invite not only a deeper connection with the natural world, but also a greater awareness of the people, histories, and living cultures connected to it.
🌲 Pause. Breathe. Reconnect.
