Folks it's important that we start to educate ourselves with people who've been in research about covid-19 and Corona viruses.
Please take a look at the article below and understand that gyms are an Essential Business and play a vital part of the solution to public health during this pandemic, not a part of the problem. Our current public health policy in Colorado is doing more harm to the WHOLE of public health in our community. Public Health includes things like preventing heart disease, increasing our longevity, managing mental health and most importantly, increasing immunity through fitness to prevent Covid-19 from taking hold of our public health. We need physical fitness now during this pandemic more than ever to take care of our mental health and other preventable health conditions. It is my belief that if we could be preventing much of the mental health crisis through physical fitness. And yet our Colorado public policy is directly against physical fitness in the name of the public health. We must be open with a greater capacity than 10% in order to stay open and serve our community. 25% capacity is the bare minimum we require if we are to survive as a business and serve the Public Health of our community. Please read this article with an open mind and contact our officials at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and Governor Jared Polis administration In the name of the WHOLE of Public Health. +++++++++++++++++++++++ Our physicians and licensed healthcare professionals would not enter an environment that they felt was unsafe and we feel that it is critical to allow them the opportunity to get back into a regular fitness routine, offering innumerable benefits to both their physical and mental health, especially as we enter the winter months," reads the letter. "Data demonstrates that health clubs are safe environments, which is important because prioritising health and fitness is more essential than ever.
You released a list of multiple big box retailers in Jeffco that are now having outbreaks of Covid, why are these retailers not being ordered to shutdown, disinfect and test all employees? You are putting multiple restrictions on small business, but nothing on big business.
Hi! I'm not seeing a lot of info on moving to Red today. please post more info :)
How are you going to help this happen?
8th grader done with school at 9:45 AM. These kiddos are going backwards together. with you all closing schools. Florida is 100% in person. If they can do it why can we not? These areas that close schools are setting the kiddos up for failure.
Can you explain why we are increasing restrictions when simple math shows that cases/tests, hospitalizations/tests, and hospitalizations/cases are all steady SINCE JULY?? The spike in cases and hospitalizations is due to testing, not increased spread. Please don't continue to damage Jeffco's economy for no reason!
Thank you Jody Erwin for valuing advocating to maintain in-person learning models for Jeffco Schools as long as it is safe. I appreciated all you shared at the School Board Meeting tonight.
I would love to comply with the new orders, however they are presented in graphic format that does not allow me to make them bigger (think poor eye sight) so that I can read them. Is there a text version of this somewhere that spells out the new rules?
Why is the data on your website so old; a week old? Need to do better, for your residents, so we can make educated decisions.
BREAKING NEWS: The world renowned experts in their fields, after a 4 day conference regarding COVID-19, declare that WE SHOULD ALL GO BACK TO LIVING NORMALLY, PRACTICING SIMPLE HYGIENE & STAYING HOME WHEN SICK (NO FACE MASKS OR SOCIAL DISTANCING) and only protect the most vulnerable populations with more protective measures! “From October 1-4, 2020, the American Institute for Economic Research had a remarkable meeting of top epidemiologists, economists, and journalists, to discuss the global emergency created by the unprecedented use of state compulsion in the management of the Covid-19 pandemic. The result is The Great Barrington Declaration, which urges a “Focused Protection” strategy.” “Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching.
