A Heartfelt Message from the Founders๐ฅน
Disclaimer:
This is a long post, but it comes straight from my heart. Please read it with a smile. ๐๐๐๐ฉท
Sunday was nothing short of amazing!
Before sharing the professional pictures, videos, and individual acknowledgments, I want to personally thank everyone who supported our second We Style Too Fashion Show.
As the founders of @ Precious Kreations Inc Precious and I are deeply grateful.
This vision is close to our hearts, and seeing it come together so beautifully meant more than words can express.
Precious is my why. Her love of fashion, hair, makeup, modeling, all things royal and stylish inspired this vision.
But this vision is not just for Precious it is for Precious and people like her.
Having a disability does not mean someone cannot be stylish, confident, expressive, or celebrated. Everyone deserves the opportunity to showcase their personality, individuality, and style. For many participants, this was their first opportunity to model, share their style, and shine on the PINK carpet.
We Style Too was created to make room for everyone to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where individuals and families can connect, express themselves, and feel celebrated. From registration through the day of the show, our goal is to make the experience accessible and easy to navigate without unnecessary red tape.
Through our resource vendors, community partners, families, friends, local celebrities, Mardi Gras royalty, entertainers, and supporters, we are bringing people together while celebrating the spirit and culture of New Orleans.
We want people to have access to friendships, meaningful relationships, resources, services, and opportunities that help them live full and meaningful lives.
Whether our models wore our graphic tees or their own outfits, each person brought something special to our PINK carpet.
And Precious gave everyone PRECIOUS this weekend her personality, expressions, and yes, even her meltdowns on stage, off stage, and around the stage. Real-time, real, and uncut.
Thank you for embracing her with patience and understanding. Inclusion means making room for the whole person, even when everything is not polished or picture-perfect.
We also appreciate everyoneโs understanding and flexibility with the venue change. We did our best to notify everyone, and your patience and cooperation meant so much.
To our models, their families and friends, volunteers, sponsors, donors, vendors, entertainers, community partners, and everyone who attended, shared a post, or helped behind the scenes THANK YOU!
Your support exceeded my expectations.
@ Christy Davis and @ Torrence Taylor, your support goes far beyond your roles.
Christy, thank you for listening to my vision, supporting the mission, making connections, and adjusting along the way.
Torrence, thank you for being our host and a true stylist, setting the tone and improvising with us. You had Precious and me in our CEO attire, with Precious looking like the stylish 25-year-old co-founder she is!
I could not have done this without you both. I am grateful for your continued partnership and everything we are building together.
And we are SO New Orleans! โ๏ธ
As this event grows, we will fine tune the details while holding on to our culture, authenticity, and intimacy the feeling that there is a place for you here.
This vision is bigger than us. Thank you for believing in it, supporting it, and helping us bring more awareness, inclusion, and connection to our community.
We are better together.
More highlights, acknowledgments, and news about what comes next will follow.
As I reflect on Sunday, please know that Precious and I felt the love, and we do not take it for granted.๐ฅน
With heartfelt gratitude,
Olantha L. Scott

The best is yet to come! ๐๐๐
