Livin' On A Chair: Lessons of Love and Faith after Breaking My Neck

Seven years ago today at this very hour I was breathing what I thought was my last breath. I was in a ditch, paralyzed from the neck down, praying that God would take me quick and make it painless. Through a series of miracles, and the support of family and friends I am so grateful to be here enjoying the recovery that I have had, and the business we have built. I have written a book that I hope inspires people, renews their faith, and helps them to appreciate their lives. The book is titled "Livin' On A Chair". You can order the book here, and if you are moved please pass it along to those you believe are in need. Thank you and enjoy the story!

These 'signs' may seem very obvious but it is always important to make sure that you are happy with your doctor. The patient-doctor relationship must be open, honest and collaborative in order to ensure staying healthy. For more info visit www.sirfus.org.

Staying with a doctor you're not happy with is as harmful as staying in a relationship you know is bad because it's easier than making a change. But parting ways may be the healthiest move.
