Does anyone have a connection in the area where a person could donate crocheted hats, scarves, or lap blankets to cancer patients or a cancer center? Thanks!
Hi Circle of Friends. I know a lot of you barely know me or haven't met me yet. This is really really really hard for me to ask because I don't like asking for help of any kind, especially something major like this.
I have a somewhat major surgery coming up Oct 29th at Emory St Joseph. I don't have anyone to be my care person to take me and bring me home. It is supposed to be outpatient surgery and I am not sure how long we have to be there for (I find out Thursday).
I'm trying to prepare for everything else as early as I can, but this is the only thing I don't have.
So if anyone here would find it in your heart to be my care person for the day, you can drive my car or I will give you gas and food money and my eternal love.
Way to go, Mimi!
I was diagnosed with breast cancer, infiltrating duct, DCIS and spread to the lymph nodes in 2005. I am now 15 years cancer free!
Hi - I was diagnosed with breast cancer with metastasis to the lymph nodes in 2005. I had a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation followed by 5 years on tamoxifen and 5 years on Femara. I have been cancer free now for 15 years!

You do not have to be an expert on health or health care. We only need your thoughts and opinions. We are not attempting to sell you any products or services.
You will be provided a $75.00 cash for your participation, and a light meal prior to the discussion.

Such a lovely, and fun event yesterday! Thank you, Bobbie and all of the volunteers who worked so hard to make sure this event was a success! Everything was beautiful! I so enjoyed the speaker, Beth Brownlee, and was honored to be seated next to her! I can't wait for next year! I plan to invite all of my friends!
