It’s OCTOBER!!!

October has a lot going on. To mention a few, iit’s the month of transition, transformation, harvest (reaping what had been sown), releasing what no longer serves you and, depending on your belief, the veil between the physical world and spiritual world is its thinnest during October.

This month we will discuss what herbs can be used to support us during this time, create some teas, make fire honey and start our fire c***r. We are also making some changes to MAC and getting the space next door ready to open.

As we enter this month, now is a good time to check on those in your circle. For some, Fall -the start of holiday season- is often accompanied by mood swings, seasonal depression, worries and anxiety and serves as a reminder of heartache. While this may not apply to you, it’s still a good time to be aware of how you’re feeling, your thoughts and actions and where you are mentally as well as physically.

Check in with yourself. How are you?

As for me- I’m ok. September was an interesting month of dealing with deep emotions, loss, gains, highs and lows. I am releasing a lot, making some adjustments in my personal and business life, closing chapters and starting new, preparing for what’s to come while looking forward to all that October has to offer.

As always, keep moving forward and have a cup of tea tonight.

We’ll see you soon!

Bring your questions, concerns and ideas!

Kathy Suttles and team will be at MAC tomorrow, September 24, from 4pm-6pm.

We met Kathy shortly after opening our doors. She came in with questions, concerns, and a story to share. It didn’t take long for us to see how deeply she cared about her community and how much she wanted to do more to help.

Fast forward to today, and she’s doing exactly that.

From listening to the concerns of her neighbors, to asking the hard questions, to simply meeting people where they are, Kathy is showing what it looks like to be present and engaged in the community she hopes to serve.

She’s already doing the work, connecting with people, and working to make a difference, before ever winning the seat.

Whether you agree with her views or not, feel as if your voice isn’t being heard or if you’re not too sure about any of this, come out tomorrow, spend a few minutes with Kathy, ask the questions, express your concerns and let your voice be heard.

See you there!

MIDWEEK CHECK-IN…

How are you? (Let’s go a little deeper than “I’m ok”)

When was the last time you checked in with yourself?

Did you eat food, real food, today?

How much water did you actually drink today? Don’t count the water in your tumbler that still sitting on your desk or nightstand 😑

Are you mentally and spiritually stable or are you spiraling?

Have you checked in with your loved ones?

Have you had your tea today?

As for me, I’m grounded, dealing with emotions and the rollercoaster of Life - seeking understanding in the midst of confusion has been my saving grace. I check in with myself daily, often several times throughout day. I did eat real food, mixed nuts and mini sweet peppers. I’ve already consumed 2 liters of water (yes, sparkling- the burn and tingle makes it interesting 😏). I am stable, this is the most stable that I’ve been in a while. I have checked in with my people.

And yes, I’ve had my tea today.

In spite of it all, Life is still good and I am grateful.

Stay rooted in Love. I’ll see yall soon!
