Our staff came together wearing orange in recognition of Unity Day and National Bullying Prevention Month! π§‘
Bullying is more than just hurtful words. It can have lasting effects on a person's confidence, mental health, and sense of belonging.
βΌοΈHere's why awareness matters:
π£οΈ Bullying isn't always obvious. Exclusion, spreading rumors, intimidation, and online harassment can be just as harmful as face-to-face bullying.
π¬ Speaking up makes a difference. Whether you're a student, parent, teacher, or friend, showing support and refusing to participate in bullying can help create a safer environment.
π€ Belonging matters. When young people feel connected to their schools, families, and communities, they're better supported emotionally and socially.
At LVHC, we believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and included. Wearing orange is a small gesture with a powerful message: No one should have to face bullying alone.
𧑠Let's continue choosing kindness, standing up for one another, and building a community where everyone belongs!
