One of our very own Play Hut therapists and her family are facing an incredibly difficult time as their sweet baby boy battles E. coli and Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS). He is currently hospitalized and receiving dialysis, with a long road to recovery ahead.

We’re so sad to see one of our own go, but so excited for what’s ahead for her! 🤍

Ms.Kaitlyn is trading Virginia for Texas and heading off on a brand-new adventure. We’re incredibly thankful for the time she’s spent at The Play Hut and for all the kiddos and families she’s loved on along the way.

She’ll definitely be missed around here and there will not be near as many giggles from her stories, but we’re cheering her on as she starts this next chapter. Texas is lucky to have you! 🤠💛

🎉 Our yearly employee adventure took us to The Lost Sea and The Big Game Show! We had a blast exploring, competing, laughing, and making some great memories together. 💙🛶🎲

💛 A Note to Our PlayHut Families About Back-to-School Scheduling 💛✏️🚌✂️

As everyone heads back to school, we know many families are requesting after-school therapy appointments. We completely understand the desire to avoid missing school whenever possible!

Unfortunately, there are far more children needing therapy than there are therapists and after-school appointment times available. While we do our very best to accommodate everyone’s schedule, we simply cannot guarantee an after-school spot for every child.

If your child needs to attend therapy during the school day, we are happy to provide a school excuse. We will also work with you to find appointment times that minimize missed instruction and avoid important parts of your child’s school day whenever possible.

Please remember that the beginning of the school year brings a tremendous number of schedule-change requests all at once. Our team is working hard to accommodate as many families as possible while also making sure every child receives the care they need.

We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding as we work through the back-to-school transition. 💛
