Mercury retrograde begins October 24 and runs through November 13- all in Scorpio. Instead of bracing for chaos, what if we used this time to slow down and listen? 🌙

Mercury retrograde is an invitation to reflect, review, and realign. It’s a beautiful time to reread your journals, revisit unfinished projects, clear your space, and notice what the energy is mirroring back to you. With Scorpio involved, deeper truths and old feelings may come up to be seen.

I put together a free Mercury Retrograde Reflection Companion with the 2026 and 2027 retrograde dates, crystals for clarity and communication, how to find Mercury retrograde in your birth chart, and two tarot and oracle card spreads.

Mercury retrograde begins this Saturday, October 24, and I have a maybe unpopular opinion but I kind of love it.

When we use Mercury retrograde the way it’s meant to be used, it becomes a time for introspection, reflection, and recalibration instead of pushing forward. The chaos usually shows up when we rush ahead on things that aren’t truly aligned with us. This retrograde is asking us to slow down and notice what’s coming to light.

This one is extra potent too. Mercury retrograde in Scorpio overlaps with Venus retrograde, and both turn direct on November 13. Expect shifts, deeper truths, and some big changes in how we think, communicate, and love.

I’m so curious to see what this retrograde shows each of us. What are you hoping to reflect on?

Tomorrow, October 20th, we have Venus square Pluto.

A square is a challenging aspect, and here it brings together Venus, the planet of love, beauty and finances, with Pluto, the planet of power and transformation. We may feel some tension in our relationships and in how we hold power within the spaces we love.

This is the second of three Venus square Pluto checkpoints during this Venus retrograde. The first was around September 15th, so anything that came up then could be revisited now. The third will be around December 9th.

I feel like the theme for the next month or more is creating power through love instead of fear. Pluto takes us deep into the underground, and this time we're going into the depths of ourselves to find that seed of unconditional love. We're going into the darkness to find the light.

What would it look like to hold your power with love this week?

A lot is going on astrologically this week, so here's a quick overview for October 19 to 26.

✨ Oct 20: Venus square Pluto may bring tension into our spaces of love and relationships.
✨ Oct 23: The Sun moves into Scorpio and Scorpio season begins. The Sun also meets Venus retrograde at 0° Scorpio and lights up that deep Venus energy.
✨ Oct 24: Mercury retrograde begins in Scorpio.
✨ Oct 25: Venus retrograde moves back into Libra.
✨ Oct 26: Full Moon in Ta**us, ruled by Venus.

With all these moving pieces and retrogrades, this is a powerful time for shadow work, soul healing and inner reflection. Venus and Pluto energy can be hard to combine, but the theme coming through for me is finding love in the darkest places, and the love within ourselves.

The full weekly astrology forecast is on YouTube and Patreon if you'd like to go deeper. I hope you have a beautiful week and find some magic in all this energy.
