What a delightful afternoon! 💛

Today’s blackout poetry workshop, The Gift of an Extra Hour, was all about giving ourselves a little extra time to slow down, play, and create. And, well… we may have gifted ourselves a little MORE than an hour! 😂🎨

It was such a lovely afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, connection, and the joy of making art just for the sake of making art.

A heartfelt thank you to my wonderful people who joined me today, and to everyone who stopped by to shop, browse, or donate creative supplies. You are helping make this little creative community something truly special. 🌈

My heart is full. 💕

🍂 November at Kaleidoscope PA: A Season of Gratitude!

This November, we’re celebrating creativity, connection, community, and the joy of giving back!

We’ve got a wonderful lineup of events this month, including blackout poetry, art journaling, creative expression, and a little holiday magic. And in the spirit of gratitude, THREE of our November events are FREE!

Our November 1 and 15 workshops at Kaleidoscope PA are free, with optional donations accepted to support the startup costs of Happy Valley Creative Reuse, our developing community creative reuse center. It’s our little way of sharing the joy of creativity while helping build something special for our community.

We’re also thrilled to be part of a free creative expression event on November 7 in partnership with Mount Nittany Health and the Palmer Museum of Art!

And on November 22, we’ll kick off the holiday season with a whimsical workshop featuring miniature holiday houses and handmade watercolor cards. Note: you get to take home your very own festive house with this one!!!!! 🏠

We’re especially grateful for everyone who has supported Kaleidoscope PA, attended a workshop, shared an idea, or simply cheered us on. This little creative community is growing, and we’re so glad you’re part of it.

Our very first workshop in our new Kaleidoscope PA space! 🎨✨

We kicked things off with a spooky block printing workshop filled with creativity, experimentation, and connection! A special thank you to Michael Monko for leading such a fantastic workshop and to everyone who joined us for this exciting milestone!

Here’s to many more moments of creativity, community, and joy in our new space! 🎃
