Nothing makes those underwater treadmill steps go by quite like a tennis ball and a little determination! Forest came prepared to put in the work! We’re glad he could have a ball while building strength and improving mobility! 🩵🎾

🎈🎂 Happy belated 12th birthday to Max! 🎂🎈

Max celebrated his big day on Monday, and judging by that laser focus on his birthday cake, we’d say he was VERY ready to get the party started.

Max, we hope your 12th birthday was filled with all of your favorite things! We’re so lucky to get to celebrate another trip around the sun with you. Happy Birthday, Max! 🥳🎂

Who needs to see where you’re going when you’ve got this much determination?

Being blind doesn’t stop this superstar from putting in the work in the underwater treadmill! With a little extra guidance, lots of encouragement, and plenty of trust, Emma can focus on building strength, improving mobility, and getting those paws moving.

We’re so proud of our patients who remind us every day that a different way of navigating the world doesn’t mean slowing down. 🩵

In case anyone needed a little something to brighten up their Monday: Redford to the rescue!! ☀️

Redford is always a good dose of sunshine and happiness for everyone he sees and we love when we get to see him here! 💕

As Vet Tech Week comes to a close, we want to send a HUGE thank you to all of the wonderful companies, local businesses, friends, and individuals who helped us spoil our amazing nursing staff this week!

From treats and goodies to gifts and thoughtful surprises, every contribution helped remind our nurses just how appreciated they are by not only us, but the incredible community surrounding our clinic.

To HVM, Nimbus & Dr. Lacy, and the Eskew and Baker families who donated, contributed, dropped something off, or helped make this week extra special: THANK YOU! 🩵

And to our incredible nurses: we hope you felt just a fraction of the appreciation you deserve this week. We couldn’t do what we do without you! 🐶🐱🩺💪

So…what exactly DOES a veterinary rehabilitation nurse do? 🤔🐾

The short answer: A LOT.

Our nurses are an essential part of every patient’s rehabilitation journey. Throughout the day, you might find them guiding therapeutic exercises, assisting patients in the underwater treadmill, performing laser treatments, monitoring gait and comfort, documenting progress, communicating with pet parents, and helping carry out each patient’s individualized treatment plan.

They’re constantly watching for the little things, too: the extra step a patient takes, a subtle change in posture, signs of fatigue, or that moment when an exercise that was difficult a few weeks ago suddenly becomes easy.

And, of course, no rehab session would be complete without encouragement, belly rubs, and a strategically timed snack or two!

Veterinary rehabilitation takes a team, and we’re incredibly thankful for the technicians who help our patients become stronger, more comfortable, and more confident every day. 🩵

It’s Vet Tech Week, so we think it’s only appropriate that you get to know some of the people behind the scrubs! 🐾🩵

Our nursing staff spends their days helping patients build strength, improve mobility, stay comfortable, and reach their rehabilitation goals. But, there’s a lot more to them than what you see during your pet’s appointment!

Swipe ➡️ to meet our amazing team, learn a little more about them, and find out what they love most about working in veterinary rehabilitation.

And if you see your pet’s favorite person, be sure to give them a shoutout in the comments! 🥰

It’s officially Veterinary Technician Week! 🐾🩵

Before we spend this week celebrating our own incredible team, we want to start by recognizing all of the amazing veterinary technicians at the clinics we have the privilege of working alongside.

To the techs at our referring primary care practices, specialty hospitals, emergency clinics, and other veterinary teams: thank you for everything you do for your patients and their families. From answering our calls and helping coordinate records and referrals, to caring for these pets long before they walk through our doors (and continuing to care for them after!), you are such an important part of their healthcare team.

We know just how much knowledge, patience, compassion, and hard work goes into being a veterinary technician, and we are so grateful to work alongside so many wonderful people in our veterinary community.

To ALL of the veterinary technicians out there: thank you for everything you do.

Happy Vet Tech Week! 🎉🐾

Double trouble in the treadmill!

Mattie is taking her role as official treadmill supervisor very seriously while Ellis puts in the work! 😂 Whether you’re the one exercising or the one providing moral support, rehab is always better with a friend by your side. 🩵

POV: Beau is your HBOT patient checking in and making sure you’re doing everything correctly. 👀😂

He sure is putting the “super” in supervision! We’re glad we could give Beau the HBOT treatment he deserves!
