💗 Skelly’s Pink Cool‑Down Before Conference Week
Hi friends! Skelly here, still shaking off the glitter and good vibes from yesterday’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. After weeks of helping prep for the upcoming conference, I needed one last moment to breathe… or, well, pretend to breathe. Yesterday was my wind‑down day, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to recharge.
I stepped into a world of pink, bright pink, soft pink, bold pink, and it wrapped around me like a warm hug. After all the conference planning, deadlines, and checklists, being surrounded by that kind of hope and community felt like a reset for my little bones.
And then came the highlight: meeting the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders. 📣 SKOL! They welcomed me like I was part of the squad, gold pom‑poms flashing while I stood there with my googly eyes doing their best to keep up. It was the perfect mix of fun and heart, exactly what I needed before diving into conference week.
Yesterday wasn’t just an event, it was a reminder to pause, breathe, and appreciate the people who show up for something bigger than themselves. Now I’m heading into the conference feeling lighter, brighter, and just a little more pink.
