Please consider signing up your youth for Society of Care's programs: Trauma Warriors and Indigenous Warriors!
Trauma Warriors is a council of self-identified native female youth ages 13-24 years old. The group meets every Frdiay evening at the Indian Center. The program focuses on developing and strengthening confidence, team building, and leadership skills through various activities such as crafts, workshops, guest speakers, community projects, and much more!
Indigenous Warriors is for male youth ages 10-24 years old. This group meets every Sunday evening also at the Indian Center. This program meets to help urban Native young men develop emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The young men are introduced to traditional Native American values and get an opportunity to build a support system within the community of young Native men.
To register your youth you can scan the QR codes or reach out to the contacts listed on each flyer. To learn more about either programs for the youth or Society of Care all together, please visit their website at societyofcare.org.
