So in nursing school, we went over today chronic care and the older 65+ population and oh my gosh… I didn’t realize so many older adults are at risk for so many things and possibilities of neglection from families and caretakers 🥺 To hear they get passed on like nothing all struck a cord in me. This broke my heart to hear this population gets mistreated and no available resources for good nutrition. I’ll look into more to see if HC in some way can give back to those in need. Not sure what that is gonna look like but hopefully God will iron out the details. I’ve been working on a project for a hospital so that there clinic can give our food for those in need. I heard there was a man who starved for 8 days because his food card wasn’t going to be filled till that weekend. Ohhh I just want to hug everyone and make a warm meal for them 😭😭😭

Yall bout cried for my weight loss clients today 😭🥹 for the first time, I actually feel like school is paying off because my clients that did their check in with me this morning, my God they are losing that weight in a healthy and happy way. The fact that I can work better and fast in conjunction with their healthcare providers just makes me think God wanted me to go back to school. WOW…. I’m just amazed that I can apply my skills to cooking, nutrition and pain management. Thank you all for rooting for me on my last exam and if I have to repeat this semester again I am fine with that. Whatever God’s will is ❤️🙏🏼
