๐ŸŒพ HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF YOUR RURAL COMMUNITY! ๐Ÿ’š

What would you like to see happening in your community? More opportunities to connect? Family support? Educational workshops? Wellness activities? Community gatherings? Or something entirely different?

At Rural Resilience, we believe thriving rural communities start with connection, collaboration, and listening to the people who call them home. ๐Ÿค

Weโ€™re gathering input from YOU to help guide our future community programming, gatherings, and educational offerings throughout our rural communities. Your feedback will help us understand what matters most, what resources are needed, and how we can create meaningful opportunities for individuals and families to connect, learn, and thrive.

๐Ÿ“ฃ Take our quick Community Survey today! Tell us what youโ€™d like to see in your neighborhood and help us build programming that reflects the unique strengths and needs of our communities.

๐Ÿงก OCTOBER IS NATIONAL BULLYING PREVENTION MONTH ๐Ÿงก

Bullying is more than โ€œkids being kids.โ€ It can affect a young personโ€™s sense of safety, belonging, confidence, school engagement, and overall well-beingโ€”and its impact can follow them long after the moment has passed.

๐Ÿ“Š The numbers matter:
โ€ข 34% of U.S. teenagers ages 12โ€“17 reported being bullied in the past year.
โ€ข Nearly 1 in 5 high school students reported being bullied on school property.
โ€ข More than 1 in 6 reported experiencing electronic bullying.
โ€ข Teens who experienced bullying were nearly twice as likely to report symptoms of anxiety or depression compared with teens who were not bullied.

๐ŸŒฑ AT RURAL RESILIENCE, WE BELIEVE CONNECTION IS PREVENTION.

In rural communities, relationships matter. We know one trusted adult, one supportive teacher, one caring peer, or one person willing to notice a change can make a tremendous difference.

Let's create schools and communities where every child knows:

๐Ÿ’› You belong here.
๐Ÿ’› You deserve to feel safe.
๐Ÿ’› You can ask for help.
๐Ÿ’› Someone will listen.
๐Ÿ’› You don't have to face it alone.

This October, let's move beyond โ€œDon't bully.โ€

Let's teach children how to connect, how to include, how to speak up, how to ask for help, and how to care for one another.

Because prevention starts with all of us.

๐ŸŒฑ GROW WITH US! ๐ŸŒฑ

Rural Resilience is growing, and weโ€™re looking for the right person to grow with us!

We are seeking a Contracted Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to provide counseling services to students in Gardiner, Montana, 1โ€“2 days per week.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by bringing accessible, relationship-based mental health support directly into a rural school community.

๐Ÿ’š Position: Contracted Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Candidates considered.
๐Ÿ“ Location: Gardiner, Montana
๐Ÿ“… Schedule: 1โ€“2 days per week
๐Ÿซ Setting: School-based counseling services
๐Ÿค Focus: Supporting rural students and families through accessible, compassionate mental health care

At Rural Resilience, we believe that where a child lives shouldnโ€™t determine whether they can access the support they need. Weโ€™re building a team that values connection, collaboration, flexibility, and showing up for rural communities.

If youโ€™re a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor passionate about working with youth and interested in being part of a growing rural nonprofit, weโ€™d love to hear from you!

๐Ÿ’š 988 Day: Moving Together. Connecting Together.

Today at 9:00 AM, schools across Park County came together for 8 minutes of movement and connection in recognition of 988 Day.

We moved to remind our students, staff, families, and community that itโ€™s okay to ask for help. ๐Ÿ’š

Mental health is part of our healthโ€”and just like we care for our physical health, we need to care for our mental and emotional well-being, too.

Movement can support mental health. Connection supports mental health. And connection is prevention.

Eight minutes may seem small, but when an entire community moves together, it sends a powerful message:

You are not alone. Itโ€™s okay to reach out. Itโ€™s okay to ask for help. And we are stronger when we take care of one another.

Thank you to the schools across Park County who participated and helped us create a community where connection, wellness, and mental health matter. ๐Ÿ’š

Move. Connect. Reach out. Ask for help.
988 is here when you need it.
