Desert Rey's Apothecary Desert Rey's is a platform to provide crafts and wisdom from a holistic and cultural perspective. Who is Rey? It has been so for unnumbered generations.

Reynna comes from women who care for their families with home remedies as much as possible. Being the little girl who made plant potions while playing outside and being an artist gives birth to a place to share things with You as they come. Reynna is also a face of long term addiction and homelessness. Her internal healing process is transmuted in to a labor of love and compassion for others.

7 years of walking this Red Road. 🤯🎰🪶

Thank you to the people who show up for me and accept my path as one of many ways life goes on after homelessness and addition. The girl on the left was more scared than she could ever admit. Grateful she pulled through for this day to be possible. 🙇🏽‍♀️ Recovery is hard, but the most worthy decision I’ve made… 2,555 days in a row. Thank you to my communities for having a Home in so many people, places, and things.❤️‍🔥

Today’s views from the Apothecary. Hanging home grown herbs, storing dry ones, shaking tinctures, straining others, enjoying open windows.. 🙇🏽‍♀️ 🌧️ Taking time to make my own brochure for an upcoming workshop instead of lazier, unethical routes. I’m honored to have a chance to bring workshops to alumni for a substance use treatment center. Our first will be Fire C***r because ‘tis the season. 🍁 I was booked with this facility before they knew I worked in the same field. Desert Reys web is expanding and I’m excited for what will happen as we keep going. 🧿✨

Thank you everyone for the connection and good energy, I can’t wait to see how our final product tastes. 🤤 Made me so happy to have my mama and one of my aunties join us. ❤️‍🔥

Watching my chosen niece get to make her first fire c***r jar because “mommy makes this” was just 🤌🏽. Seeing how intergenerational medicine practices work in her life fill me up. Looking forward to these cozy settings with you as the desert starts to cool off. 🙇🏽‍♀️

We are ready for tomorrow’s circle! Desert Rey’s Apothecary will be having our first Fire C***r workshop of the cooler seasons at 3pm. 👻 Thank you those who ordered a jar if they couldn’t make it! Our Morning Glory’s I grew from seeds are starting to pop off. Had to share their blooms from today. ❤️‍🔥

Working with a large population has pushed me to give my immune system a better chance at fighting through and against getting sick. Fire C***r is also a great way to nourish our digestive and circulatory systems. Workshops season 2 is in motion! 🙇🏽‍♀️🪶

It’s almost time to make Fire C***r together. We are excited to welcome you to the Apothecary for relaxing, medicine making, and welcoming Autumn. 🎃

We are gathering Oct 3 @ 3pm

Fire C***r is an herbal tonic created to aid our immune, circulatory, and digestive systems. During the change of the seasons, Fire C***r can help shorten sick time or fight it off before it takes over. This is an infusion compared to a ferment, so nobody has to worry about alcohol content developing. We look forward to spending time doing what we love with you! 🙏🏽

Spent this morning’s sunrise in the Apothecary. 🙇🏽‍♀️
We hope you will join us October 4 @ 3pm to make Fire C***r! You can expect a small circle, all supplies provided, and a great opportunity to learn and teach together. 🪶

Fire C***r is a wellness infusion that has an affinity for our immune, digestive, and circulatory systems. Whether I am trying to stay ahead of the game or fight off being sick, this is my helpful bestie! Fire C***r can aid digestive function, ease heartburn, and warm us up on these cooler days to come. 🍂🧡🍁

My solo California pilgrimage was a success! 🐻 First stop was to the southernmost area of Chumash Nation on my mom’s side. Decompressed with Grandmother Ocean and spent a dark New Moon night in Topanga Canyon. Found some old and beautiful Black Sage. My late friend Littlehorn leaves me store bought flowers in nature. We met in this area and I’m thankful he still walks with me. 🧜🏽‍♀️ Afterward, I stopped in Riverside to visit the Ndn Residential School Cemetery one of my ancestors survived. I always leave a Red Road milestone at the children’s cemetery. This is year 6. Reconnecting, leaning in to my culture, and rejecting the church is for everyone who didn’t get a chance. ❤️‍🔥🪶 My final stop was in my birthplace, visiting my family and more plant relatives. Haven’t seen the wild hills I frequent since the Springs Fire and there’s already new growth everywhere. I was also presented with an Owl feather for my first time. 🙇🏽‍♀️ These are the things that fill my cup so I may continue to pour in to the Community.
