The day started like this....
With an onsite visit with a Client & their 4 legged 🐶
Compliance Assistant- My favorite part of my job

A few hours later, I was sitting in the Dr office getting a 💉shot that looked bigger than most compliance issues.

Honestly- That’s a lot like Compliance.

One minute you’re doing business as usual & the next:
📧 A suspicious email from DCR comes in.
🚨 An Inspector shows up
📋 A record can’t be located

Suddenly your day looks very different.

The good news? Unexpected doesn’t have to mean unmanageable.

That’s why I tell clients- the time to prepare is before the surprise arrives.

Because in Compliance, it’s rarely the planned things that cause the problems-

It’s the things you never saw coming.

Time for me to get back to icing the shot I received.

What started as a routine….
Onsite visit quickly became a full blown brainstorming session- with laptops open, regulations on the table, & everyone focused on getting it right.

This is what building a culture of compliance looks like.

Not scrambling before an inspection.
Not checking boxes at the last minute.

It’s leadership, managers, & team members sitting down together to understand the operation, identify opportunities, & strengthen processes before issues arise.

The most successful 🌿 Operators I’ve worked with all have 1️⃣ thing in common:
Compliance isn’t one person’s job.
It’s everyone’s responsibility.

That’s where the magic happens.

This 🌿 Grow smells like….

I am so excited to celebrate my clients 1st Harvest with them-
After so much blood, sweat & tears to get this 🌿 Grow to where it is today is a major accomplishment for them & for me as their Compliance Consultant!

Looks to me like these licensed 🌿 Operators don’t really need to pay for your licensing fees anymore- have fun collecting from these non-licensed Operators.
