Day 13, and it is World Gratitude Day: write the gratitude letter.
Think of the person who shaped you most and has never actually heard it. A teacher. A first boss. The friend who showed up in a bad year. Write to them — about 300 words, specific about what they did and what changed for you because of it.
Then read it to them. Out loud. A call, a video, in person. Not email.
When researchers tested five happiness exercises against each other, this one produced the largest effect at the one-month follow-up. Saying it beat writing it down privately.
It takes about fifteen minutes and it is genuinely uncomfortable. It is also the one people remember years later.
Book the fifteen minutes today.
