Here we go—the final “words of wisdom” I wrote for my friend’s 22-year-old daughter.

Let’s finish strong! 👏

11. See the people in your life as mirrors. 🪞

“Sometimes, other people reflect parts of ourselves that we cannot see on our own.

If you stay open, every relationship—with family, friends, and even strangers—can teach you something that helps you grow.”

12. And perhaps the most important one…

You are exactly where you need to be right now.

“Even when life feels confusing, slow, or difficult.

Even when things don’t make sense…yet.

Trust the timing of your life.

There is meaning in it, even when you cannot see it.”

✨ And one final thought:

“Please remember—you have the power to create the life you truly want.

Believe in yourself.

Believe in something bigger than yourself.

And never forget that you are not alone. None of us are.

We are all walking this journey together.”

I’ve truly enjoyed sharing these words with you, and I hope something in this series has resonated with you.

Which “words of wisdom” spoke to you the most? Or what wisdom would you add to the list?

On World Mental Health Day, we’re sharing a reminder: you don’t have to do life alone. 💚

We all feel lonely, anxious, misunderstood, or overwhelmed at times. We may miss someone we love or struggle to do the things we once enjoyed. With so much happening around us, life can feel like a lot to carry.

Here are a few ways to ground yourself when things feel like too much:

1. Pause and breathe. 🧘‍♂️
Try a few slow, comfortable breaths, a short mindfulness practice, or a quiet moment with your feet on the floor. Give yourself permission to pause.

2. Move in a way that feels good. 🏋️‍♀️
Walking, dancing, stretching, or strength training can support your mood and help ease stress. Start small and find movement that works for you.

3. Notice how caffeine affects you. ☕️
If coffee or energy drinks leave you feeling jittery or more anxious, consider cutting back. Make space for regular meals and hydration, too.

4. Create a daily routine. 🕛
A little structure can help your day feel more manageable. Start with a few simple anchors, like a regular wake-up time, meals, or a daily walk.

5. Make time for rest. 😴
Sleep and mental health are closely connected. A consistent sleep schedule and a calming bedtime routine can help you wind down.

6. Take breaks from social media and the news. 📱
Notice how scrolling makes you feel. Set boundaries and make time for activities and content that leave you feeling connected or refreshed.

7. Reach out. 👥
Talk to someone you trust or connect with a support group. If anxiety is persistent or affecting your daily life, a mental health professional can help.

You don’t have to try everything at once. Choose one small step—and be gentle with yourself.

We don’t have to do life alone. Let’s do this together, one day at a time. 💚

Reach out if you need extra support—we’re here to connect.

Have you ever regretted something—an action, a reaction, or a moment when you didn’t act at all?

When you realize you could have handled something differently, do you react defensively—or respond with humility and grace?

Continuing my series of “words of wisdom,” I’m sharing the next three today. May they inspire you to move through life with humility, forgiveness, and an openness to grow.

8. There are no mistakes—only lessons. 🌱

“Life will not always go the way you planned—and that’s okay.

Every experience is shaping you.

Forgive yourself when needed. Learn. Grow. Keep going.

Your journey is unfolding exactly as it should.”

9. Stay humble. 🙏

“Life has a way of teaching us what we need to learn.

When you stay open and grounded, those lessons come with more grace.”

10. Self-care is not selfish. 💜

“Taking care of yourself allows you to show up fully for others.

When your light is strong, it naturally shines on the people around you.

So take care of yourself—and don’t feel guilty for doing so.”

When we remain humble and open, we become more willing to recognize the lessons life brings us—and more able to receive them with grace.

We can forgive ourselves, learn from our experiences, and continue moving forward. And when we care for ourselves along the way, we strengthen our ability to support others and shine a light for those we love—without a drop of guilt.

How often do you do something kind for yourself? What does your self-care practice look like?

Please share below. Let’s inspire one another to care for ourselves and be a light for the people we love.

Enjoy the practice, and have a beautiful day! ✨

Remember…. Value your time and energy, step outside your comfort zone, and maintain healthy boundaries.

When was the last time you felt butterflies in your stomach—when you stepped outside your comfort zone or took a chance on something?

And when you spend time with others, how do you feel afterward—depleted or energized?

Continuing my series of “words of wisdom” written for my dear friend’s daughter, here are the next two. Each has made a meaningful difference in my life: one can be uncomfortable but exciting, while the other is essential to my joy and well-being.

6. Do something that scares you—every day. 🫣

“It doesn’t have to be huge—just something that gives you butterflies in your stomach.

Have a hard conversation. Try a new experience. Speak up. Take a chance.

These moments stretch you. Years from now, you’ll look back and see how they shaped you into someone you’re proud to be.”

7. Protect your time, your energy, and your heart. 💜

“Be discerning about who you allow into your inner circle.

Set healthy boundaries, even with the people you love.

When you respect yourself, you show others how you deserve to be treated.”

Choosing to stretch myself keeps me moving forward instead of feeling stuck—in my actions, my thoughts, and even my beliefs.

Being intentional about who I spend time with has also helped me develop greater self-respect. I’ve learned to value my time and energy, honor my needs, and maintain healthy boundaries.

How have you stretched yourself lately? Share below—your experience might inspire someone else to take a chance too!

Have a great week! ✨

Reminder ——> Start your day with kindness and curiosity. Give someone the gift of feeling seen and understood.

Changing lives one smile at a time. 😁

Have a great day!

09/24/2026

Have you ever had a stranger smile at you as you passed each other on the street?

How did it make you feel? Did you smile back? Did it lift your spirits, even just a little?

Here are the next two “words of wisdom” I shared with my friend’s daughter. Simple as they may seem, putting them into practice could change someone’s day—including your own.

4. Be kind. 😊

“You never know what someone else might be going through.

A smile, a kind word, or even a little patience can change someone’s whole day.

And most importantly—be kind to yourself, every single day.”

5. Stay curious. 🤔

“Ask questions. Look at life as a classroom, a playground—an adventure!

You will learn so much more by being curious than by being judgmental.”

Sit with these two thoughts this week, and notice where you might put them into practice more often.

Kindness and curiosity may seem simple, but they can change a life. When we approach others with an open heart and an open mind, we give them the gift of feeling seen and understood. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Change a life today, one smile at a time. 😁

👉 Reminder to enjoy your own company and believe in a power greater than yourself.

… Life will become much more meaningful when you do!

Have a great week! ✨
