Most people think tox works like a switch: you get treated, it kicks in, stays exactly the same for a few months, and then suddenly wears off.
In reality, the process is much more gradual. You may start noticing changes within the first week, but that is not always your final result. For many patients, tox looks its strongest around 2–6 weeks.
After that, the effect slowly begins to soften as muscle movement gradually returns. By around 3–4 months, you may notice more expression and movement coming back little by little.
So if your tox looks different at week 1, week 6, and month 3, that is completely normal. It builds in, peaks, and gradually wears off, rather than staying perfectly flat the entire time.
