We’re not here to absorb the karma of others and we’re not here to prevent people from having the experiences that will help them evolve and transform from within. As well intentioned as we may be, to do so would rob them of their sacred awareness. We can love and we can help guide, but ultimately it’s our own individual awareness and healing that will set us free. Remember, everyone has their own Higher Self, it’s not our job to make sure they listen.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what I will be reclaiming as Venus begins her retrograde in Scorpio. In my October energy update I spoke about how this reflects the Sumerian goddess Innana’s descent into the underworld and her brilliant ascent back up into her full power and reclamation. It got me thinking about Kill Bill Vol. 2 (my fave movie) and how just when we think all is lost for The Bride, she dives deep within her memories, remembers her strength and resilience, empowers herself, and knows exactly what she needs to do to fight for herself and rise back up. It wasn’t until I did this livestream that I realized all the ways stories of death and rebirth have inspired me my entire life. That’s why we’re all talking about this retrograde. Anything we’ve abandoned in ourselves is ready to come back. We just have to do the work for our own worth. This is the ascent.

(Sidenote: I’m really glad I skipped class when I was 17 to be the first to watch Vol.2 in theaters. And if this is a spoiler for you, its been 22 years chill 🤣...)

You deserve to fall in love with yourself. The magic we see in others comes from us first 🖤 It’s so easy to abandon the one who has been there for us all along, probably because we know we’ll always be there for ourselves. Thankfully, life gives us multiple opportunities to remember. We just have to wake up to our own self-worth and be brave enough to hold that mirror for the one’s we love as well 💫
