For 15 years, COPE Health Solutions has been providing a way for students to explore and begin a career in health care. The Japan International Health Scholar Intensive is designed for people who want to understand healthcare beyond one role, one hospital, and one country.

Whether you’re a current student, graduate student, recent graduate, taking a gap year, exploring a career change, or already working professionally, the experience can connect to your own path—medicine, nursing, public health, global health, healthcare administration, policy, research, analytics, operations, and more.

During 12 days in Tokyo, Scholars explore the U.S. and Japanese healthcare systems through clinical-site education, learning from healthcare leaders, comparative discussions, professional networking, and cultural experiences.
