Our friends at Fleet Feet Encino have been nice enough to allow us to host early packet/bib pick up tomorrow, Friday, June 28 from 3 PM to 7 PM.
We encourage you to come and pick up your race packet and bib on Friday to help streamline the early morning on race day.
This will also allow you to pick up any last minute hydration, nutrition or miscellaneous items you might need before race day!
Support your local running store!
Parking is limited in the park on race day, so picking up on Friday will allow you extra time on race day.

Completed 8 miles on the Valley Crest half course today even though tomorrow is an official practice run. Ran/walked it with my friend Louis. Weather was perfect except when the sun decided to show upwhile going up hill, of course why not. The rest of the run was under clouds. Just those two hilly spots we had sun. Felt great and could have gone 2 more miles which is a testament to my Runnergy training method. Next long run I am going for 10 miles. 😳 Thanks to my friend Louis for an awesome run and brunch at VIP's!

Super chill easy 5 miler this morning with best friend Louis at Balboa/Woodley park bike path. Went real easy as next week’s run needs to be 8 miles on trails. Hopefully the weather will be cool again next week.

Hey ya'll. I am once again "2nd time" stuck at home due to Covid. UGH! I know!
So I had time to write about one of my all time favorite shoe brands ASICS. They have made some radical changes to their shoe design language recently and I wanted to share my thoughts on it. I personal have been run/walking on the Nimbus 25/26's and honestly love them. I know.....they're not Altra's, but hey I am an equal opportunist. Not to mention prior to Altra's I used to wear Asics honestly from 1988 through till 2004 so bite me. Just kidding. LOL!
Anyway, here is my blog post on this new design language from Asics footwear which I hope you take some time to read (as it took days for me to write, just kidding, not really) on my clearly not finished Runnergy website. Yes, I am working updating that too. HaHa!
