Today, our Alameda team had the opportunity to visit Arroyo High School and San Lorenzo High School to connect with students in their Sports Medicine classes.
From learning about 988 during Su***de Prevention Month, to hands-only CPR, choking response, how to use coordinates to help emergency responders locate you, and pathways to becoming an EMT or Paramedic, students engaged with thoughtful questions and a strong desire to learn.
We are grateful to these schools for welcoming us into their classrooms and for inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals. A special thank you to our crew for sharing their knowledge, encouraging curiosity, and making the day memorable with an ambulance tour to close out the visit.
Shout out to the teacher, Mrs. B and Eden ROP
