We provide medical, dental, and behavioral health services to patients across Los Angeles, regardless of insurance. Via Care is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in East LA providing exceptional care to patients in our service area throughout their lives. As a community-based organization, Via Care fulfills its mission by delivering quality healthcare services throughout the entire life cycle, in a manner that is respectful and conscious of the cultural and linguistic needs of our patients and their families. Via Care offers medical, dental and behavioral health services, including extensive family planning, health screenings, primary and acute care, women's health, pediatrics, HIV testing and treatment, Hepatitis C testing and treatment, COVID-19 testing and vaccinations, podiatry, pharmacy services and more. In addition, collaborative relationships with local hospitals ensure that patients will receive the highest level of care in any and all situations. Headquartered in East Los Angeles, Via Care operates 14 clinics in East LA and South Gate, including student health centers at East LA College, West LA College, LA Trade Tech College, Rio Hondo College, and a school-based wellness center at Garfield High School. Via Care has providers and staff who are Spanish-speaking and LGBTQ+ friendly.

What a wonderful morning with our seniors at yesterday’s Live Well with Via Care Senior Wellness Workshop!

Led by Dr. Demetrio Cardenas, the workshop covered important topics including brain health, mental wellness, and Medicare education. These gatherings give our seniors the opportunity to connect with one another, ask questions, and access valuable resources in a welcoming environment.

We’re honored to continue offering these workshops and creating spaces for our patients to stay informed, engaged, and connected. Events like these remind us that care extends beyond the exam room, creating opportunities for learning, friendship, and support.

Our Via Care team took to the streets today! 📣 Providers and staff rallied alongside community health centers, patients, and partners to say NO on Prop 44.

At the press conference, Dr. Tom Tu, DDS, spoke about why Prop 44 is dangerous for community health centers and the patients who depend on us, and why he’s voting NO.

We’re proud to share that Via Care was one of 28 health centers nationwide selected to receive a $2 million grant from Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) through the Quality Improvement Fund – Improving Access to Dental Services for Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (QIF-DNDD) investment.

This funding will help us expand pediatric dental services for children with neurodevelopmental disorders by creating sensory-friendly dental suites and waiting areas, growing our specialized care team, and enhancing access to compassionate, high-quality care.

We are grateful for this investment in our community and look forward to expanding care for children with unique developmental and sensory needs.
