💜 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Fundraiser Table 💜

Our Legacy Lane residents — Carl, Tom, and Dennis — worked together to set up this heartfelt display outside our therapy gym! Each handmade soap was created with care and is being sold to support the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

We’re so proud of their teamwork and creativity as we raise funds and awareness for a cause close to all our hearts. 💜

✨ It’s Never Too Late to Dream Day ✨

On September 25th, as part of our It’s Never Too Late to Dream Day, we surprised one of our deserving residents by granting one of her dreams. Miss Effie Clifford has never had her nails professionally done, so today we made that wish come true — and she got to share the moment with her daughter, Mary.

A huge thank‑you to Blanche Nail & Spa for treating Effie and Mary with such kindness and care. Your team made their experience unforgettable, and we’re truly grateful for the warmth you showed them.

These simple moments of joy are what It’s Never Too Late to Dream Day is all about — creating memories that shine.

Our Legacy Lane residents have been hard at work creating handmade soaps, and they’ll soon be baking fresh homemade treats to help raise money for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on October 18.

Beginning Monday, September 28, Ashton our Legacy Leader will have a table set up outside our therapy gym where you can stop by, shop their creations, and support our fundraiser. Every purchase goes directly toward the Alzheimer’s Association.

This week, we celebrated National Fall Awareness Day at The Willows at Springhurst! 🍂 Our dedicated Therapy Team created a fun, educational program where residents participated in balance games and learned fall prevention tips. Residents who visited all stations and got their passports stamped were entered into a raffle basket giveaway. Creativity took flight at Willows of Springhurst clubhouse. Our independent Living residents brought charming geese with interchangeable seasonal hats to life at our first Paint and Sip. A big thank you to our Life Enrichment Director, Matt Adams, for leading such a creative session and inspiring everyone's inner artist.

We love seeing how quickly our new residents settle in and become part of our community family. It never takes long for a new face to become a fast friend here!
Lately, our halls have been filled with so much laughter as our newset neighbors swapstories and make themselves right at home.

Congratulations to our Campus in Color winners for Willows of Springhurst Patio Homes. The garden displays this year are absolutely stunning! A special thank you to everyone who poured their time and love into cultivating such beautiful spaces.

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to our FIRST PLACE GRAND GARDENERS, Kathy and Jim Birkhead!

We are all so inspired by the immense passion and hard work Kathy pours into every single petal creating an absolute masterpiece.

A round of applause also goes to ANDY AND SUSAN RUSSEL our Second Place winners of Campus in Color for their breathtaking picturesque garden that completely stole our hearts!

A little dirt on our hands, a lot of brainpower on our tables, and the wind in our hair!
Today's schedule was packed with our favorite things: tending to the garden, conquering some truly masterful puzzles, and hitting the road in the golf cart for a few neighborhood visits.
